Man Shot, Wounded In Culpeper County Domestic Dispute

One man was taken to the hospital and another man was arrested after a Friday morning shooting in Culpeper County. Detective Angela Deavers of the Culpeper Sheriff’s Office identifies the suspect as 58-year-old Sylvester White of Rixeyville. The identity of the 33-year-old victim was not released. He was taken to Culpeper Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries described as not life-threatening. Deavers says it happened around 9:30 a.m. in Rixeyville and a gun was recovered. The Culpeper Sheriff’s Office is referring to the shooting as a domestic dispute.
