The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a “sexting” ring involving teenagers, and deputies have already seized nearly two dozen cell phones. Major Donnie Lowe of the Louisa Sheriff’s Office has told the “Central Virginian” newspaper up to 100 middle and high school kids are sending each other nude or inappropriate pictures. In addition to Louisa, Lowe believes the kids who are doing this are residents of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Orange, Goochland and Hanover. He says a pair of “Instagram” accounts, which were used to transmit the pictures, have already been shut down.
