It’s 13 years in prison for Darren Rowe, the Louisa County man who shot and paralyzed a former friend and roommate. The 28-year-old Rowe and the shooting victim fought over a girlfriend who went back and forth last year between the two men. When the woman decided to leave O’Bryan Johnson for Rowe, Johnson went to the woman’s apartment and damaged Rowe’s car. Rowe then shot Johnson at a convenience store in Louisa. A judge in Louisa Circuit Court (pictured) gave Rowe 43 years, and suspended 30 years of that sentence.
