Monday was another red-letter day for the Louisa County public schools. Superintendent Deborah Pettit (pictured) and countless teachers, parents and students are welcoming the new Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. Kids in its attendance zone spent the last three academic years in temporary accommodations on the campus of Trevilians Elementary.
