The U.S. Justice Department is getting more Muzzle Awards from the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Speech. The center’s Clay Hansen says top officials at the Justice Department seized telephone records of Associated Press reporters and editors. The same federal agency labeled James Rosen of Fox News as a “criminal co-conspirator” so it could get Rosen’s phone records and emails.¬†Another muzzle award was sent to the governing board for the public universities of Kansas.¬† The board has a new policy that lets the schools fire their faculty members who use social media to disrupt harmony among their co-workers. Hansen was a Thursday guest on the Morning News with Rick and Jane.
