Nelson County landowners are looking for answers from Virginia’s largest utility on a proposed 42-inch natural gas pipeline. Charlotte Rea of Friends of Nelson says pipeline critics will issue statements about Dominion Virginia Power’s plans during a Tuesday meeting of her county’s Board of Supervisors. Rea says landowners and other members of the public will not be allowed to ask questions during the meeting. She contends the pipeline would be incompatible with Nelson County’s values and rural lifestyle. The session will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson County Middle School on Route 29 near Lovingston.
