Investigation Moves Forward On Sexting Ring

Investigators have now wrapped up interviews and the next step is a forensics expert poring over about a thousand nude or semi-nude pictures and videos. Major Donnie Lowe of the Louisa Sheriff’s Office says it’s part of an investigation of a sexting ring involving more than 100 teenagers in Central Virginia, including ones living in Albemarle, Fluvanna, Louisa and Orange. Lowe says the case should be wrapped up by the end of the month. He says four arrests are possible and the charges could be felonies.
