House Fire Kills One Person In Free Union

There’s been a fatal house fire in the Free Union area in the northwest corner of Albemarle. County spokeswoman Lee Catlin says investigators have confirmed one person died at a house fire in the 3400 block of Millington Road.  The incident was reported at around 11:20 a.m. Sunday. Albemarle Fire and Rescue continues to investigate, and Catlin says there will be additional details once they are available.
