The parents of murdered Virginia Tech student Morgan Dana Harrington carried out a sad ritual Sunday. Dan and Gil Harrington tied a fourth black ribbon on a bridge that connects the John Paul Jones Arena and the North Grounds of the University of Virginia with Ivy Road.  The Harringtons’ action marked the fourth anniversary of the discovery of their daughter’s remains at a farm in Albemarle County. They have now spent four years trying to find out who murdered 20-year-old Morgan. The Harringtons were joined by Lolita Smith (pictured second from left), who’s the grandmother of Dashad “Sage” Smith of Charlottesville, who vanished in November 2012. Dan Harrington (pictured second from right) and Gil (pictured left) also met with the family of Alexis Murphy, the Nelson County girl who disappeared in early August. The Harringtons are also lobbying the General Assembly to make it easier for law enforcement agencies to share information in missing persons cases.
