Happy Hours Can Be Advertised In All Media Jan. 29

Happy days are here again for drinking establishments. Restaurants and bars will be able to advertise thier happy hours in any media. Previously, that was only allowed inside the business or on a small sign outside. Kathleen Shaw of ABC says ads about specific drink prices will be restricted. Shaw says you’ll also be able to take a closed container of wine and cider known as a growler out of the bar. Currenlty, growlers allowed to be carried out of a bar can only contain beer. The new rules go into effect January 29th.
