Local businessman Halsey Minor has a new venture called Bitreserve, which involves bitcoins. Minor explained how it works when he appeared Thursday on the Schilling Show. Minor wants to ease Americans’ fears about the wild swings in the value of a bitcoin. Minor (pictured right) has been involved in many business ventures in recent decades. He created an internet program called C-NET, which he sold to CBS six years ago. One venture that did not fare that well was the Landmark Hotel on the Downtown Mall. That still incomplete hotel became the property of Atlanta businessman John Dewberry in 2012.
