Grand Jury Indicts Henrico Delegate Morrissey

A grand jury has indicted a state lawmaker who’s charged with having a sexual relationship with an underage girl. Henrico County Democratic Delegate Joe Morrissey is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old part-time receptionist at his law office. Morrissey is facing several felony charges. The onetime Richmond Commonwealth’s Attorney is accused of having supervisory indecent liberties with a minor, electronic solicitation of someone who’s underage, and the possession and distribution of child pornography. Morrissey is now serving his fourth term in the House of Delegates (pictured).
