The Goodwill stores that serve our area are making a policy change. Spokeswoman Kelly Coleman says Goodwill will stop accepting used televisions as of May 1st.  Coleman says many of the donated TV sets don’t work at all. Virginia’s landfills have also stopped taking used televisions. How do you get rid of an old TV? The Crutchfield Corporation charges $10 to take a used TV off your hands, but you’ll get a $10 coupon in return. You can drop them off at Best Buy for free.
