Fluvanna Boy Wins $529 For College Education

A local family has a head start on paying for college education. They were the winners of $529 to go into a college savings account with the plan known as Virginia 529. The prize went to the baby born at Martha Jefferson Hospital closest to 5:29 p.m. on 5/29/14. The winner is Savont Amani Washington-Rector of Fluvanna County. He was born at 4:04 p.m. Martha Jefferson was one of 22 hospitals taking part in the contest from Virginia 529.Savont Amani Washington
