Fire Damages Parts Of A North Garden Business

A weekend fire damaged parts of¬†Campbell’s Lumber Company in North Garden. Albemarle Fire and Rescue found a mulch fire ignited a piece of equipment at 4195 Plank Road. The County Fire Marshal’s office says embers from the mulch fire caused $3000 to $5000 in property damage. The fire was discovered shortly after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.¬†There were no injuries.
