The family and friends of missing teenager Alexis Murphy came together Sunday evening for a vigil at Nelson County High School. A year has passed since Murphy’s family notified authorities that the 17-year-old high school student had vanished. A Nelson County jury has convicted Randy Allen Taylor of killing Murphy (2013 picture), and a judge has sentenced him to spend two life terms in prison. Members of the Murphy family are still hoping she will be found alive.
