Falls Church Woman Stabbed At Fireworks Show

Fairfax County Police are investigating a stabbing that happened during a Fourth of July event in the Falls Church area. A 65-year-old woman joined some friends to watch a fireworks show in a shopping center parking lot. A man approached the victim from behind and stabbed her in the upper body. The suspect is white and appears to be in his late teens or early 20’s with short blonde hair. At the time of the attack, he wore a white tank top and shorts. The victim was sent to a Northern Virginia hospital with serious injuries.
