Orange County’s Gordon-Barbour Elementary School was the scene of a brief lockdown late Wednesday morning.  A man tried to enter the school through one door, then tried a second door where he asked an employee if the school was affiliated with the church across the street, and who controlled the next door playground. Orange County Chief Deputy Michael LaCasse admits the man’s questions showed no threat or malicious intent. The man is described as a white male in his 40’s with blond hair, a dark sweatshirt and white shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 540-672-1200.
