E. W. Jackson Won’t Run For A Senate Seat This Year

A Chesapeake minister who ran for Lieutenant Governor last fall won’t be a candidate in this year’s U.S. Senate race. E. W. Jackson will not try to get the Republican nomination to oppose freshman Democratic Senator Mark Warner. Jackson did run for an open U.S. Senate seat in 2012, and finished last in a four-candidate Republican primary.
