Dogwood Parade Continues Decades Old Tradition

The Dogwood Festival Parade, which has been a local springtime tradition for generations, took place Saturday in the downtown business district of Charlottesville. The parade is an opportunity for high school bands, volunteer firefighters, pre-teen baton twirlers, and political hopefuls to do a loop from the McIntire Road corridor to the area near City Hall on an April day.
