Dewberry Shares His Frustrations Over Stalled Hotel Project

The businessman who owns the long-stalled Landmark Hotel project says he’s been frustrated dealing with city officials.  John Dewberry says the shell of a future hotel is padlocked, but City Hall is giving him grief because graffiti artists frequently break in and trash the place. Dewberry believes city employees should be upset that vandals and homeless people are trespassing on his property. He’s planning to jump start work on the local project after he’s completed a structure in Charleston, South Carolina. Dewberry shared his frustrations Thursday on WINA’s Schilling Show.
