Area Democrats have learned more about efforts to break the cycle of poverty. Susan Erno (pictured) oversees PluggedInVA, which is managed by the Thomas Jefferson Adult and Career Education program. Erno and her colleagues strive to enhance the marketable skills of local adults. She joined Ridge Schuyler of the Charlottesville Works Initiative and Stephen Davis of the Community Investment Collaborative during a weekend panel discussion. It was part of a monthly breakfast for Democratic activists.
