Crozet Area Resident Injured In Garth Road Collision

A 26-year-old motorcycle operator was seriously injured Saturday in a two-vehicle collision on Garth Road near Millington Road.  Albemarle Police say the Crozet area resident was airlifted from the 1500-block of Garth Road shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday.  The motorcycle rider’s injuries were described as non life-threatening, but police say the speed he was going was a factor. His vehicle hit a car with two adults and one child. The people in the car were not injured. Garth Road was closed for nearly four hours following the collision.
