Supervisor Wants One Office To Draw Up Budgets

An Albemarle supervisor favors setting up a single office to work on new budgets for the county schools and the general government. Ken Boyd (pictured) notes the county has a human resources office that works for both the school division and the local government. Fellow supervisor Ann Mallek believes the spending plans that are developed by the County Executive are much easier to follow than the ones that originated in the schools’ central office.
