Albemarle Police have arrested a 19-year-old man following a home invasion incident in the 1600-block of Townwood Court. Police say Kevin David Taylor II (pictured) is charged with committing a burglary while armed, attempted robbery, and a firearms offense.  Taylor is being held without bond at the Regional Jail.  Police have also identified a man who died from a gunshot wound shortly after 12:15 p.m. Wednesday. He’s 20-year-old Ronald Eugene Glover, Jr. of Albemarle. County Police spokeswoman Carter Johnson says Glover died inside the apartment at 1618 Townwood Court. Johnson says two men who were inside the apartment were taken to police headquarters for questioning.  They were released later in the day. She says it appears Taylor and Glover were responsible for the home invasion. This was Albemarle’s first homicide of the year, and it remains under investigation.
