The thought of having a roundabout at an eastern Albemarle intersection is stirring things up. The idea is to build a roundabout where Routes 22 and 231 come together. Supervisor Ken Boyd, who represents that area, says it’s only on paper at this point. Boyd says the thinking is to slow down traffic in the Keswick area. But he says it’s not a good idea because of the effect it would have on adjoining property owners. The roundabout proposal brought out a standing-room-only crowd at one of Boyd’s recent town hall meetings.
