The Charlottesville schools have created new hours for a city-run child care program. The CLASS staff will greet elementary school kids as early as 7:30 a.m., and operate afternoons from 2:30 to 5 p.m. School Board member Jennifer McKeever (pictured left) wishes the fees could be lower for working-class parents. McKeever, Willa Neale (pictured right) and the rest of the Charlottesville School Board have signed off on the new fee schedule. The city schools will begin a new academic year on August 20th.
