A Robertson Lane resident is upset about a proposal that would allow higher water bills. Colette Hall (pictured) does not like the possibility of double-digit increases, and she resents the higher wholesale rates being charged by the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority. The RWSA is increasing the wholesale rates that it charges the city and the Albemarle County Service Authority. The City Council will approve a new utilities budget on June 2nd.
