City Police Charge Man With Rape

A man has been charged with rape following an alleged domestic incident earlier this month. Charlottesville Police say 28-year-old Josh David Taggart (pictured) initially was charged with assault and battery. Following an investigation, Taggart is now accused of rape. He’s been in jail since the assault and battery warrant was filed.
