The Albemarle and Charlottesville Republican committees have new leaders, and both chose women to run things. Cindi Burket (pictured) is beginning a second stint running the county GOP. Burket stepped down last fall after she got the Republican nomination for a special election for Scottsville District supervisor. Barbara Null is her party’s new leader in Charlottesville.┬áNull succeeds former GOP chairman Buddy Weber, who ran for City Council last November. She was a recent guest on the Schilling Show.
