The top man at Charlottesville Area Transit says our snowier-than-usual winter affected the habits of regular bus riders. CAT Director John Jones says Routes 7 and 9 had fewer riders this year than they did during the first three months of 2013. Jones also has some routes where more people took the bus. They include Routes 1,3, 6 and 8. Jones says some bus stops have been re-instated. His list includes the Water Street stop near the downtown branch of Bank of America.
