The Buckingham County sheriff’s office has charged two people with filing bogus reports. Investigators say the first incident happened April 25th, when a caller made false statements about someone impersonating an officer on Route 15. Sheriff’s deputies got a later complaint from a woman who reported she had been followed May 8th by someone in an unmarked SUV with flashing white lights. Investigators have not identified the people who phoned in the reports, but they label their complaints as false. Both callers are charged with making a false report of a crime to law enforcement.
