Barrett Center To Benefit From Charlottesville Ten Miler

The Barrett Early Learning Center is expecting to get around $65,000 in proceeds from the latest Charlottesville Ten-Miler. Vice-Mayor Dede Smith (pictured) says this will help working-class families with kids at the Ridge Street facility. The money will help to provide scholarships. Those who operate the Charlottesville Ten-Miler will formally present their check next Tuesday.
