Annual Tax Free Holiday Begins Friday

Here’s another reminder that summer vacations will end soon. Virginia’s sales-tax holiday will begin Friday and last through Sunday. Joel Davison of the Virginia Taxation Department says many families buy all of their back-to-school items during the sales tax holiday. The tax-free items include pencils, paper, notebooks and school-related clothing.
