A woman who’s very familiar with state government is the next member of the McAuliffe cabinet. Former First Lady Ann Holton (pictured) has been named the next Virginia Secretary of Education. Governor-elect Terry McAuliffe announced the appointment Friday. Holton is the daughter of former Governor Linwood Holton and the wife of former Governor Tim Kaine, who’s now a member of the U.S. Senate.
