Albrmarle Police Want To Catch Suspect In Daytime Crimes

Albemarle Police want the public’s help in catching a male suspect in several daytime crimes. He’s a suspect in “snatch and grab” cases last Saturday at Chris Greene Lake, and the Albemarle Square and Rio Hill Shopping Centers. Police say the man appears on a surveillance video smashing locked car windows, taking purses, and stealing credit cards. He might be driving a white minivan or SUV. If you recognize the individual in the surveillance photo (pictured), call Crime Stoppers at 977-4000.
