The Albemarle Supervisors want the General Assembly to adopt a new budget, and do it now. The board unanimously approved a resolution Wednesday urging state lawmakers to resolve their funding disputes before the current budget expires June 30th. The county’s senior staff says the absence of a statewide spending plan would create a $76 million hole in the Albemarle budget.
