Albemarle Supervisors Renew Debate Over Courtroom Space

The Albemarle Supervisors have taken another look at a very expensive problem. They spent Wednesday debating ways to create more courtroom space, and whether the county should keep its courts downtown. Liz Palmer (pictured) told her fellow supervisors many lawyers and judges have already voiced their sentiment for keeping the courts where they are. She does not want their preference for the status quo to give county residents the idea that a decision has already been made. The supervisors are also trying to solve a parking shortage near its court buildings.
