The Albemarle school system might start using the first new videos since 1994 for the family life program. The county school board has endorsed a 30-day review period for a 20-minute video on inappropriate touching. If the board accepts the video named “It’s Your Body, You’re In Charge,” it could be shown to kids as young as five years old. Any parent who wants to check out the video can go to Murray High School between now and mid-September. The school board will vote on the new material at the September 25th meeting.
