They cannot decide on giving themselves a raise. Members of the Albemarle school board are taking a two-week delay on whether to have a larger paycheck starting in July. The board had a three-to-three deadlock Thursday night. Steve Koleszar (pictured) proposed a 1% pay hike, the same as the county supervisors. Pam Moynihan and Kate Acuff sided with Koleszar. Ned Gallaway, Jason Buyaki and Eric Strucko voted against it.
