This should make you stay extra alert behind the wheel. AAA says December is the deadliest month on Virginia roads. Tammy Gobert of AAA says there were 788 alcohol-related crashes in the state during all of 2012, and 16 people were killed during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period last year. There’s a website where you can find resources for staying safe and sign a pledge not to drink and drive during 2014. It’s at www.preventDUI.AAA.com
