Randy Taylor has pleaded guilty to one count of grand larceny for stealing a dirt bike and an ATM from next to where he worked last summer. Both items were found during the investigation of the death of Alexis Murphy, the Nelson County girl Taylor is convicted of killing. Tuesday’s sentence was five years with four years suspended, but Taylor already faces two life sentences later this month. Nelson County Commonwealth’s Attorney Anthony Martin says they caught Taylor by way of jailhouse phone calls in which he talked about the items, including asking his child’s mother to move the dirt bike.
