Dominion Makes Big Contribution To Energy Share

Dominion Virginia Power is donating $1 million dollars to EnergyShare. That’s a program helps the elderly, the ill and anyone facing financial hardships from unemployment or a family crisis pay their energy bills.

Eligible residents can get a payment of up to $600 per heating season to pay for any energy source – oil, wood, kerosene, natural gas, propane or electricity. Since the program began, Dominion and its customers, employees and retirees have contributed more than $60 million to help more than 700,000 people.
