Kirsten Dunst criticizes Apple over naked photo leak

Hollywood actress Kirsten Dunst has criticized technology giant Apple over the nude photo leak which led to saucy photographs of the star emerging online.

The Spider-Man heroine was among a number of celebrities targeted by a hacker who published reams of explicit personal pictures on the Internet.

The images were reportedly obtained from Apple iCloud accounts, and Dunst, who was shown topless in a number of the leaked shots, has now hit out at the company through her account.

In a message posed on her page, she writes, “Thank you iCloud” along with an emoticon of a slice of pizza and a pile of excrement.

Apple bosses have confirmed they have launched an investigation into the alleged security breach, saying in a statement, “We take user privacy very seriously and are actively investigating this report.”

Other stars caught up in the scandal include Jessica Brown Findlay, Kate Upton, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Jennifer Lawrence, whose publicist has warned that anyone caught sharing the snaps could face prosecution.

Agents at America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are also investigating the scandal.
