Rocker Chrissie Hynde shuns her own fans when they approach her in public by making out she merely looks like The Pretenders star.

The “Brass in Pocket” hitmaker admits she can’t stand interacting with followers of the band when they recognize her in the street, so she brushes them off with a fib.

Hynde tells Mojo magazine, “I just say, ‘I get that all the time’. Then I go, ‘I wish I had her money though.’”
