For decades, the psychedelic blues-rock of Jimi Hendrix has inspired countless musicians around the world.  His iconic blend of innovative electric guitar work, imaginative song writing and mind-blowing stage performance has remained the ultimate in true rock music genius.   Eli Cook has spent years developing a wide selection of popular and lesser known Hendrix cuts that he will bring to the Jefferson Theater stage on November 28th in an exhilarating tribute show to celebrate Jimi’s 72nd birthday. The concert will include original renditions along with spot on, note-for-note covers, medleys, extended jams and creative re-imaginings of Hendrix classics.  Also performing will be Charlottesville guitar-shredding hero Joe Lawlor (of Egypt) as well as soulful rockers Moby & the Dicks.
