Here’s something you may or may not no about me depending on whether or not you know me personally, or know me personally but don’t care what I’m doing outside of what you know me to be doing. Or something?
As goofy as I am on the radio – that’s just my public persona, but outside of that I’ve been on a mindfulness quest. I’m striving to become a more compassionate person. And so far, this quest in which I speak of is making me a happy person on the inside and out.
On that note, here’s a little tip that I’ve learned on my journey: Treat each person as if it’s the last time you’ll see them.
Meditate on that for a second.
This way you give each person you encounter your full attention. You’ll start to see them for who they are and what they need from you. Give it a try. You’ll be startled by the results. It’ll open up a whole new, brighter world to you. You won’t be so judgmental and critical and get to the reason you may not like a particular person or group of people. You’ll no longer see people as “others” and see them as “human“. or “almost human” Doh! There I go judging. Guess I need to work on this more…
Good luck and
