How I Made Winter Fun!
How I Made Winter Fun!

Yay, me! I just completed my first round of Improv! And Yay for you because (hopefully) it’s made me better on your radio.

Here are some words to describe the experience: Humiliating, thrilling, .intense, humbling, embarrassing and gratifying. Very much like all of the emotions that  go through your head when someone catches you masturbating. Wait… Not…that…that’s…ever…happened…

Even if you’re not in the entertainment industry, it’s a very helpful and useful tool. It’ll bring you out of your shell, make you a better listener, be the life of the party – the most interesting person in the room! Why, I loved the experience so much I signed up for Improv 2, Electric Boogaloo!

Many thanks to Joel Jones, the instructor. He’s very patient (hasn’t strangled me yet), very funny (too good for radio) and has a lot of great ideas (owes me $20). Check out his website and expand your horizons.

If you feel adventurous and brave and could use some laughs, Come visit the Director’s Studio, upstairs on Allied St in the McIntyre Plaza Monday night the 17th at 7:30 for the showcase.
